Board Member

Ta’i is a proud Cook Islander hailing from the beautiful islands of Atiu, Aitutaki, Rarotonga and Palmerston Island. His extensive experience in public policy, senior strategic leadership, community engagement and values of aro’a (love), tā’aka’aka (respect), tā’okota’i’anga (collaboration) and tauturu (service) underpins his commitment to promoting and empowering families and communities. Prior to embarking on an extensive career in the public service here in New Zealand and Australia, Ta’i worked in mental health in South Auckland mainly with vulnerable Pacific and Māori men and their families.
